GONORRHEA INFECTION DETERMINANTS OF VISITORS OF CINTA CLINIC, CILEUNGSI PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER, BOGOR DISTRICT, 2015

Gonorrhea disease is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by Neisseria gonorrhea bacteria infection. The infection process of this organism requires direct contact with the mucosa of infected individuals usually during sexual intercourse (Kumar et al. 2013). Early symptoms of gonorrhea in men usually appear 2-7 days after being infected. The symptoms begin as discomfort in the urethra and a few hours later, followed by pain when urinating also discharge of pus from the penis. As for women, early symptoms usually occur within 7-21 days after being infected.
Analytical study using Cross Sectional approach. The population study are all visitors of Cinta Clinic, Ciluengsi Public Health Center, Bogor with a total of 926 people and 300 people as the sample. The data collection was by Systematic Random Sampling of the annual report profile data of Cileungsi PHC. The analysis technique used univariate analysis, bivariate (Chi Square Test) and multivariate analysis (Logistic Regression). 98 people with Gonorrhea infection, age variable (p = 0.040), marital status (p = 0.033) and occupation (p = 0.040). The results of this logistic regression showed that marital status was most dominant on affecting the occurrence of Gonorrhea infection (1. 521).
